Thank you! I had no idea; i knew green beans mostly were, but not tomatoes.... I am a compulsive seed saver, and i like trying different crosses, just to see :)

How long ago was that, they used to have those regularly at the malls in GR.. kids loved them,,,, my kids are all grown up now with kids of their own sooo lots of yrs. ago
It was from like 1994 - 1998. It was great fun. Met a lot of interesting people plus owned many exotic animals most people never even get to see. Camel was one of my favorites. Named him JC = Joe Camel LOL. Female was named CJ.

I have a great praying mantis memory...no actually, I have two- but only one I can share with you on this public board...

My sixteen year old can be such a girly girl- cheerleader blood, present since birth. She was always scared to death of bugs- the type of scared where she would run across the yard screaming and holding out her arm to get to me, whereever I may have been- so that I could smack the mosquito off....just so long as she didnt have to touch it herself.
. . . .

To this day, if I show her a picture of a praying mantis she almost passes out. :lau

My son is the one who is scared shirtless by bugs, particularly spiders and wasps. He is sincerely terrified.

My daughter, on the other hand, loves bugs and snakes and stuff like that. Funny, she doesn't like to touch earthworms. Anything else she adores.

Also MIA on here is Fife, she sold her coop and haven't heard back since, and HH hasn't said hardly 2 words........ I am curious about Juise too because she said life-altering stuff was happening, could be good, could be bad.......... and still hanging!

I talked to the neighbor. She agrees that its probably a juvie coon.
That was what I had, too.
My daughter is 39 years old and hasn't seen her real dad since she was 7 (he only lives 2 miles from me). She just hates him.
I kept telling him that the kids would remember things and he wouldn't believe me. None of my kids will acknowledge him now.But they all sure do love their step-dad.
RBahmer, my kids are younger, but it's a bit of the same story for mine with their dad. It's not easy for kids caught in the middle and one parent, in vindictiveness against the other, does things that are forever irreversible. I told my ex the same thing and he didn't listen either.

I caught my thief. He wasn't a full grown coon, but he was a nuisance non-the-less. I decided to re-set the trap tonight just in case.

I still have my old SLR but after getting the shutter fixed twice and it breaking again I finally went with my first P&S back in 2005 maybe? A 1.3 mp Fuji. Then in 2009 got a better P&S an 8 mp Panasonic which I've been pretty happy with except for the short zoom (5x) and not being good in low light situations. I finally started looking around a bit last winter, and decided I would rather get a bridge camera rather than a dSLR because I just don't have the cash for multiple lenses nor do I want to cart around a ton of stuff any more. So after some research I started drooling over the Panasonic FZ150. But at $449 I've been waiting for it to drop below $400 and was hoping when the new version comes out it'll drop significantly. Then I saw the specs on the FZ200 and about fell over. **** but I WANT that one!1 But they're saying $599. OUCH. But dang. f2.8 over the entire zoom range of 24x. I'm in lust. I'll just have to wait and see how things go and if the reviews are as great as is hoped.
This is my first DSLR. I never thought I'd have the money to get one since I can't work anymore so I just figured I'd be stuck with my P&S forever. My daughter nagged me and nagged me to get one, she'd use her credit card. I kept saying no, I wasn't going to owe her money. She pushed for another month and started to order it with me sitting a few feet from her. She said "You better tell me which one you want or I'm just gonna pick one!" haha well that's when I sat down next to her and found one. At least now that I have one I'm not as embarrassed when I do portraits.
