Good morning all, Sure wish the weather forcast was a little better than it is but I checked and I have a pulse so I can deal with what ever we have today. I sure wish that I had mowed my grass yesterday. It is currently racing the weeds to see which can grow the most overnight.

Yesterday David needed to pick dandelion blossoms to use in wine making. He needed 10 quarts of petals. I wish I could say that it took us hours to pick them, but sadly with the dandelion crop in my yard this year it didn't take all that long. I used to have a lawn service spay my yard but it had risen in price til it was $125 just for 2/3 of my yard and it needed to be applied 5 times. It was cheaper than doing it myself but the rising gas prices we had I had to cut costs somewhere. My pension just doesn't go as far as when I retired 18 years ago.

Good morning to everyone. I got my 1st cup of coffee poured, already went out to check on the chickens and next it will be time to clean the house, bake some brownies then go to the neighbors later for a BBQ. Sur hope the rain holds off.

Good morning all. So far the weather is beautiful! Mixed skies and sunshine. I hope it stays this way for a while - we have lots to do in the garden and the coop and we're building a fence to keep in the pets and keep out the pests.
