just got done chatting with Mommi3130 in the driveway for a bit. nice to see you again dear!!!
oh my...we had some delicious Barred Rocks for dinner! Elizabeth grabbed two up and i 'sent them to the promised land'. parted them out and then sprinkled with Lawry's. put them into the pressure cooker, added water and agave. cooked for 15 minutes.
made a grilling sauce with dijon, agave, red pepper, balsamic and a little more Lawry's to brush on. threw the pieces on the grill after pulling out of the pressure cooker and then brushed on the sauce. oh my. it was awesome. served with corn on the cob (that was slathered with butter, garlic, Lawry's and pepper) and broccoli. gosh, we're stuffed.
well, of course, James wants pear cake, but that boy has a hole the size of Texas for a stomach.
yes, we may need to rethink the sushi in the middle of the week, two hours away may be rough to get to, i didn't think that part out! can we figure out a way to do it more central or on a weekend maybe????
