My husband cuts wood all winter long...he doesn't like to stockpile it, I would like it if he did though!

My husband is debating whether or not to cut wood today for our outdoor furnace. The shed is not even half full yet.

Rhonda...you need to take a class to become certified. the class runs once a year at MSU in lansing. it's $15. you need to test your entire flock for pullorum and then (obviously) be negative. the test must be done every three years. you may only then buy from NPIP certified sellers.

i need to reschedule the 17th also! i have a ministry event for my Revolution group i co-lead that night. (our first event for the year)

i am so sorry! i can come to a bay city event and a lansing event though. i just need to do another date.

Thanks Miss Jayne. Do you by chance have the contact info? I have been looking at the michigan web site and can't find any info on it www.michigan.gov
Thanks
Rhonda

Rhonda-

If you get any information on this, please let me know. I would be interested in pursuing this option.

Sad day here. One of my Isa hens this afternoon was in the nest box longer than usual and making some very odd sounds for her. I thought maybe egg bound so I put her on a heat pad in a dog crate where she seems very comfortable. Well about an hour later, she died.

She was free range'n all day yesterday and was very perky. Jumped up on my lap. She had no runny eyes, or smell about her in the least. She's been very healthy. I did notice tho yesterday she seemed to be limping just a tad bit but didnt seem to affect her to move around or eat.

Does this sound like egg bound to anyone?

Thanks in advance for any info.
