Hey, hope ya'll don't mind me posting a video for you to watch.

Another forum I am a member of has a fella that makes videos and puts them on youtube.

I suggested to him about making one for the farm folk on the forum.

He did, in fact he is going to make 2 more later on.

I thought he did a good job......and some of my stuff made it in there as well.

Hope you don't mind, and enjoy!

Time to rise and shine everyone!

Looks like I'm going to have to shovel and plow again today. I'll be able to tell more when it gets daylight. I'm soooo dreading this cold that's coming this afternoon. But I think I've got everyone bedded down well enough. All I can do is keep them nourished and pray for them.

I hope everyone's flocks fair well through this....looks like it's going to be here for a little while. But on the upside, spring is getting closer. Let's just keep looking ahead to those beautiful sunshine filled days!

Have a great day to you all!

Think I'm gonna plug in an extra heat lamp today. Frozen chicken shouldn't have the feathers on...

Hello from Saranac MI. It's off I-96 between Lansing and Grand Rapids. The irony is that I live less than 2 miles from Herbrooks egg farm

who knew I would be raising chickens! We have a total (right now) of 17 hens and 2 roosters. The alpha rooster is a black austrolorp named Nugget. We are currently in the process of expanding our flock the old fashioned way (under the chicken's butt) We hope to hatch about 50 chickens. Anyone wanting free roosters let me know. My children want to sell the extra hens. We will have a rainbow of variety. Our roosters are the austrolorp and a buff orpington. Our ladies are 1 buff, 1 austrolorp, 1 New Hampshire, 1 white rock, 1 silver laced wyondotte and 1 Isa red. Our 6 children are all excited about the hatching and I hope they will not be dissapointed. Any suggestions to a healthy hatching???

Good morning all. The kids to school and everyone is feed time for my coffee. I got a bator fired up yesterday going to hatch some buttons as soon as it gets to the right temperature and holds it!! Babies! Babies! I love babies!

I go right through your neck of the woods to take my hogs to slaughter at Jones. Really pleased with the results I get back from them.

Question? I know where Herbrucks is, but I noticed another "Organic" farm that had their name on it as well...same folks?...or a different family?
