Bullet,
No turkeys yet........we are looking for some to get this spring. We are leaning towards Bourbon Reds or Blue Slate. It'll be a new and interesting adventure for all of us, as starting off with the Peafowl!

y'all come!

citalk2much, we're easy to find. follow the scent of fresh bread...

made 6 loaves today. and of course, got in on the quiche thread so made that for lunch and dinner is already done. maybe i have time to whip up some sticky buns with cranberries, golden raisins and currants. hmmmm.....

Oh my goodness, talk about the "hostess with the mostest"!!! Rhandi-Jayne and her kids are wonderful! My 14 year old chicken loving daughter went with me over to Columbiaville to visit Miss Jayne. We were fed wonderful quiche, blessed with Duke's mayo, 2 loaves of bread and a beautiful chicken! One loaves barely made it in the door before being consumed by a comando unit of teens who took over the premisis today. (The other I am guarding for dinner.) We can't wait to go back!

HI All!!
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back on. I had to have a bunch of medical tests done and one wasn't too good with the results . Got to see a specialist in Feb.
31 years ago today, I gave birth to a baby boy. Took two fourwheel drives, two snow plows and an ambulance to go 10 miles and took 4 hours to do it!!! Goofy kid still loves the snow!!
Hello to all the new people and belated happy birthday. For the one in Saranac, we live on the other side of Ionia. For the one in Weidman, we used to drive truck for Randells. For the Ithaca one, Alma and Ithac were our old stomping grounds when we were younger.
My husband and sons have all done every sort of carpentry also. My one son is still looking for a carpentry job. My husband and one son have built houses from the ground up. My husband can no longer work like that.
So far, we lost two hens to a stray cat. One was the only Brahma hen that I had. Lost one to a hawk, got the opossum before he got one. Then lost 3 more to cold or what ever. Now, God willing, we can find some more hens.
All the food looked so good you all . Hope you all have a wonderful week. Myrna

Myrna- hope your drs appt with the specialist goes well. Happy Birthday to your son too. My nephew and cousins b-day is today too.

I made another batch of jam this evening. Strawberry that is. About every 6 weeks it needs to be done. Should have just enough till the patch produces in June.

It is snowing here and still cold. Wish it would warm up a little so we could build a snow family....hopefully soon.

Good Night!
Sarah

It's snowing and isn't it beautiful, it's snowing and isn't it beautiful, it's snowing and isn't it beautifu. Nope, it didn't work. I had hoped that if I kept say that I would start to believe it. I sure will be glad when this winter is over. Seems that the older I get the longer winter seems. Myrna we will all be thinking about you wishing you well.
