Leo had his first play date today. My sister and her family and dog came and had lunch with us. Dogs got along great.
They brought a toddler bed for Nathan and he is upstairs again. My throw him in the crib so he will nap.

Off to be super mom!

oh my gosh, did we ever have a fun day! i had two customers today, then Shelleyb arrived with her DH, followed by Keleka with his children. it was like kid-mania! so fun!

if any of you get the chance to meet Keleka, jump at it! another BYC treasure! his children are smart, well behaved and they love chickens!

we all feasted on treats and had a super time! Shelleyb and her DS hung around with our family and the boys played 'cars'. (that includes my husband). race tracks, cupcakes and chicken made for a nice day.

always a good day when BYC'ers are together! thanks for the great visit everyone!

Myrna congrats on that new Great Grandson, I like his name. Of course if I was to tell ya that my Grandson's name is Arcamedies you would understand why LOL. They call him Arc I call him by his first name, if they wanted me to call him Arc they should of called him Arc LOL. Enjoy all those g=Grandkids

Sarah congrats on that new pup. I socialize pups for breeders and the first thing I teach them is if they are not sitting they don't get touched. I got 2 litters of 5 each here now, breeder came to see them a couple of weeks ago and was shocked when 10 pups ran to her and sat at her feet. One jumped and she went to touch it and I yelled don't touch that pup, don't touch a pup here unless that pup is sitting quietly at your feet. They learn fast. Congrats again.


MJ glad to hear ya had a great day with fellow BYC"rs. Food looked good.

I went shopping for a new camera today and got a deal. I got the 35 mm camera that I been watching for 2 years it started out at $799 I got it for $119 including tax. I also bought a new digital it started out at $499 and I got it for $103 including tax. I am over the moon. I bought both for less then 1/2 of what I planned on spending on a new digital.

I ended up with 21 chicks if ya get a chance you can't go wrong hatching designer chicks from Julie. They are great chicks and she is one special lady. Thanks again Julie.

Thanks, he is a blessing. Jude had him for the day, he was so good no crying, whining.....nothing just good as gold. He gives out kisses now when he is leaving and waves bye bye as he goes out the door.

What a great day it was!! Just sitting here at the inlaws and couldn't resist to check in with the group. I'm feeling very full after dinner we just had at Carrabas.

Miss_Jayne - thanks so much for the hospitality. You have a great family, and tell Rick thanks a ton for getting us outta there. (Thats a different story) Raigan loves the new chicks and has named them all. They rode home on her lap and she was so excited to show mommy. Can't wait to make it back out again!

Shelley1969, it was nice to meet you too!! Thanks for arranging everything, it turned out well. Take care of those chickens. I'll have to change my avatar, cause she's yours now!!

The new lady is doing just fine...and my son just loves her. He sat on Miss_Jayne's couch with her for the longest time, letting her watch "toonies".

I'm glad to read that everyone's day has gone today. I had my first one dozen day. That means that only 7 pullets didn't pull their weight. I put another head of cabbage in the coop this afternoon. Two hours later it was completely gone.

Hi All!!!
Both grandsons here with us got their hair cut today. I usually always cut the grandsons hair, plus my sons and hubby. Nothing fancy and saves all a lot of money. Got both of them to take a bath and now they are all settled down and watching a movie. The boys are 5 and 10. Their sister is 12 and almost stands 6 feet. She is tall and pretty.
Would anyone close by be interested in a couple of americana roosters? Maybe trade two for one full sized hen? I still have too many roosters. They are nice looking birds.
All that food sure does look good. I think I gained just looking at it all. I tried reading an exercize book to lose weight and it just made me hungry!!!
