Cindy...... those rabbits are CUUUTE...what breed are the little ones? I saw a Rex for $10 at the feed store today... but I had to pass

No bunnies for me yet.

Myrna... sorry about your chick

I'll have lots of extra mutt (possibly pure) chicks in a few weeks if you'd like some

If it was the question about how long to wait...well, I had some eggs that hatched on day 25 even though they were set with the others. You could candle a few and see if there is any movement.

Sarah.... I don't have any wooden carriers... but have you tried googling for free plans? It's amazing what you can find on the net. If my Wheaton Pullets had made it, I'd have taken you up on that

As is though I have a Blue Wheaton roo with no girls

Well, I built my brooder today!

I made it almost entirely from old doors! It ended up being nearly square with the width that of a standard door

The chicks and ducks and poults are ECSTATIC!!!!! They love the extra room to jump around! I don't know HOW I did it the rubbermaids before... of course... before I didn;t have 2 meaties or 4 ducks! LOL

No pics yet because my camera is broken

Thanks Angie, the gray and white is a holland lop, the all gray is a dwarf ?, and the black one is a Netherland dwarf. They were all adopted off of Craigslist from people who were sick of them. The black one is so nice and calm. He even comes when my daughter calls him. He runs all over the yard!

Aaaaawww..... me wants a bun bun now!

My DH would never forgive me! Maybe I could just put it in the brooder I just built with the chicks and put a little beak on it and he wouldn't notice!

That doesn't tell me yes or no...want me to bring them both, just in case? Oh it will be on Saturday now that it is late. Just tell me how early is okay to show up and we will work it out.

Hopefully we will have some Ameraucana bantams for sale if we incubate correctly...this is our first time. Waiting for the bator to get the temp regulated.....just brought home a thermoter.

If you show chickens, it needs to be a purebred. Our county has a 1st year member can show a mixed breed, but after that it has to be a purebed.

Off to put the finishing touches on a roasted chicken!!!

Sarah

Thats the whole point! I cant choose LOL! im a softie when it comes to fuzzy things. I would like to meet them in person, so if you could bring both that would be nice
