Morning all! Bummer I missed everyone at the auction

Which goats did they get!? I saw a little one... #707... sooooo flippin cute! Also... saw a sheep there... I think it was a Babydoll? It was all by it's lonesome in the stall. Anyone else see it? Even DH had to admit that it was darned cute and unique

Anyone have experience with that breed as far as the wool goes? I'm rather drawn to them as sheep go

Sounds like everyone's having a pretty swell weekend. As to Cougars.... yeah, they have seen them down here too. One lady saw it lounging in her front yard... and she's a teacher... she knows what she saw! We used to have folks around here that had pet lions. The one person let the male run loose because the males don't hunt...

... at first when people started calling the cops, they didn;t believe them. They finally caught it and removed it from the people's care. We also had an alligator in a local lake..... no one believed that at first either... and kids were swimming by it!

Not sure if they did catch that one or if they let winter kill it off. But yeah... bald eagles and cougars round down here

It's just a regular Wild Kingdom around this state. All we need is Marlin Perkins and his assistant Jim. Anyone remember watch Mutual of Omahas Wild Kingdom? Good old Marlin would be chatting away as his trusty assistant Jim is getting gored by a wildebeast or sqeezed by a boa!! Talk about a thankless job!!

Never mind the dead and maimed horses or the pair with babies seen a mile from here... and the one that suns itself in my son's teacher's back field... we are such imaginators... oh, and another mom who had one pass under her tree stand while she was hunting... or the tracks found... or the one htat jumped into the road as another couple were out taking a drive one evening... We did actually have a town meeting, the subject of which was 'Living with cougars"

Yeah---we grow those house cats big out in these parts!! Must be all the growth hormones in the "byproducts" that are in the Cat Chow. Makes em' grow from 10 pounds to at least 70 pounds or more. (I say this, since DH and I pegged the one we saw last fall to be at least as big as our 65 pound aussie).

This is c2much when she comes to visit
