Gosh, we're quiet tonight. Those buckets come in real handy. When my GD was younger she use to throw up several times a day...just because. Oh, what we went thru with her. Had to have several outfits for the day and taking her to lunch was not a pleasant experience.

One time she coughed and my other GD just grabbed and handed her the bucket!!

Luckily, it rarely happens now. Well, hope you all have a good night!

I know most of you are still sleeping, but Good morning to you anyway. It's nice that the bitter cold seems to have left us and we can finally start getting so things done outside. Now if I could only get the daylight to coincide with my bizzare sleeping schedule I'd be in good shape.

Well, I've been certified...as a hatchaholic. I fired up a 3rd bator last night! A friend of mine had one that she wasn't using, so I figured I'd test it for her this spring.

Technically it's daylight and we should be able to get going on all the things we need to do, but as dark, gloomy, and windy as it is it might be a better morning to just sit and drink coffee.

once you hit three bators, you're certifiable. wait, where does that leave me with these bators? i must be certifiable also. well, we can be certifiable together!

my Phoenix eggs are being stubborn and poky. Just checked and there is the beginning of a pip!

two dozen Speckled Sussex and one dozen mixed bantams going in today.

SIX EGGS in the duck house today! go girls! and a little fart egg on the ground in the run!
one beautiful green egg in the Call Duck house.

Good Morning.......off to work. Potting up Dahlias and Cannas for the grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island.....busy time of year. I've got 7 Pyncheons setting and a couple of my Shetland ducks are starting to lay....hopefully some ducklings. Everyone have a nice day!!!! Rusty
