How scary- and good! I am glad that cop is gonna hear it. Where was his brain? And what if that would have been his wife?

My son was hit by a car when he was in junior high a couple years ago. it was his fault, he ran right out in front of this car. He was hit hard enough to knock him out of his shoes and send him sailing. Covered his face, arms, legs in road rash...bloody mess.
Cops call me, tell me to come to the scene- say he is fine. I say, "what hospital?" "They said no, no hospital- he is fine."
When I picked him up, saw how scraped up he was- I took him to the hospital just to make sure no internal bleeding or injury. Stupid cops. This was a 13 year old. With his friends all standing around. Of course he is gonna say "im fine'.

I hope your wife re-educates the officer very well.

Steve-so glad everyone is ok! What a scare!

Rain is going to bring out the worms, the chickens will be in heaven!

Nice slow day for me today only my 2 yr old cowgirl and me! I will try my hardest not to go to Family Farm and Home, they get new chicks in this morning! Maybe we will go visit great gma and gpa instead.

Good morning Everyone! Steve, I am so thankful to God that everyone is all right. Bless you and Judy for being such good parents.

I succesfully pepper sprayed myself this morning, lol. I was in the car (parked in the garage) and leaned over to pick up something one of the kids had dropped. Heard the spray noise and am looking around for what the heck is making that noise, when WHOA! cough, cough, cough! My gaurd was off and when I leaned, I leaned on my purse...

Steve--I surely do hope your wife gives that cop holy heck!!! I chime in with the rest that I am so glad everyone, especially little Ava, is fine.

I hate this weather!!!! I know the rain is good for the ground, etc...... but it always makes me feel punky and sleepy. I just want to crawl back into bed and and snooze away the day. Hopefully the showers will pass and the sun will peek out later on. I was going to clean up the dogs area on the lawn this morning, but the poo scooping is better left to dry weather!
Anyone done any gardening? We planted peas and a few other goodies yesterday. Hubby was impatient to get started, so start we did.

Have a spiffy day everyone!! And don't forget to post some cute picture of some cute critter so I can ooh and aah over it later on. Somedays, that is about the hi-light of the day. I will post a picture of my dogs---I am waiting on the chickens, so canines will have to do.

This is our aussie Copper. He is a nerd, and I mean that in the kindest and mostest loveable way. We call him the happy bull in the china shop.

This is our beagle Betsy---she is a stray that showed up in our garage a couple of years ago. She is the sweetest thing ever!!!

I see a beautiful couple of poochies just posted. I can't quite figure out yet how to get a pic of my lover Nala on my post. Unfortunately a lot of people confuser her with a different breed BUT she's an American Bulldog. Biggest lap dog in the world if you would let her. She's a little too heavy for that, chiming in at 125 pounds
