MJ-they are cute chicks!

I can hardly wait for mine, how come it feels as if time has slowed? The humidity is perfect, hopefully its stays there. The first 18 days seemed to go pretty fast, now this last bit is taking a while. I am so nervous and excited!

Maybe I should do some spring cleaning to pass the time.

MJ they are so cute. I need some. I actually really don't I have some mutts in the bator to hatch on the 9th and chicks arriving in the mail on the 8th and 9th. I think I am going to end up with chick overload.

Edited due to my inability to spell mutts.

Good Afternoon!

We have our little incubator it has eggs in it due to hatch on April 2nd or 3rd. You are more than welcome to use it after that.
We bought it at TSC for $40 or so.

Beautiful day! Enjoying it with a sweatshirt on:)

Hello all, has been a while since i have had time to pop in here.....does anyone know of a 4h group in the Lansing area? I have tried to contact several and hear nothing back, or they have invalid emails listed. Ingham.org is useless and so is the person at the info desk!!!

I hope everyone was able to enjoy the beautiful afternoon!!!

If this is for me, thank you, but I'm worried about leaving them sit for over a week, so I'd break down and buy a (cheap) 'bator if things got too dire!

I located one of the two *former* broodies ... our Cuckoo Maran had pulled a lot of her belly feathers out, so maybe if "urged" to sit she will. I put her in a pen in sight of everyone but with her own food, water and "nest" with ceramic eggs, and we'll see if she decides to love them. <3
