OMG OMG OMG my DH picked out the CUTEST little Araucana or Americauna or EEs -- whatever they are, I'm in LUV!!

One of them is a color I've never seen before (which isn't saying much) and all of them have the puffiest cheeks, I just want to snuggle 'em!!

Will add pics as soon as I get the camera and get back out there ... it's time to turn the e99s in the 'bator and remind myself that I've still got SIX days before I candle 'em.

Lord, we bring that little one before You and in Jesus name, command that fever to do what you created it to do and no more, which is to combate any virus or bactieria that is coming against her. We release life and health and healing to her. We bind all fear of the affects of the immunizations and fever and ask for Your peace to guard Bab's heart and mind. We also ask that you sanctify the immunization to her little girl's body, that it will only provide protection and health and nothing more. Thank You, Lord that You know our needs before we even ask and that You are able to even more than we think to ask. We commit her to Your care and thank You know for the good outcome.

I've got a question for all the hatching gods on here. Yesterday my ancient incubator had a temp spike up to 113* for maybe 30 minutes at the most. Since this is a stil air bator, I read that the temp is suppose to be a little hotter then a circulating bator. Do you think that my eggs will be ok. They've only been in there since Sunday. Hoping to have them hatch on DD's 16th birthday -- 4/22

They are good. I am just trying to line up all of my details so i know what to start picking up for the coop....

I had one little chick acting strange...rolling on her side, rubbing her head on floor, etc.....kickin up her feet lol i think her feathers are coming in and she is itchy? seems to be over it now...and others are getting their little tails and feathers on their backs....

It is AMAZING how fast they change, almost like kids right before your eyes !!!! They are very much a part of the family already. I need to live in the country so i can have more, more more!!!!!!!!!!

is amazing how instincts kick in and they just do what they are supposed to do!

me too citalk2much....have been begging the hubby for us to move out of here for so many years.....and now the market has us stuck. I will have an adorable little country bungalo someday, with chickens and a huge garden. My dream is to live self sufficiently....no utility bills, grocery bills, etc....
