I will be praying for you, Shelley. God can def. provide, and will. I will ask and agree with you that He will show you His plan and for you guys to be heart - prepared to receive it. Blessings and peace to you!

I should be outside working but I've just put on my second pot of coffee so I have to stay in and drink it. Like everything else it has become to expensive to waste. It's amazing how adept I have become at finding excuses to not work outside in cold weather. Plus it's a responsiblity as a posting member of this thread to do my part in not allowing the Okies to overtake us.

Michelle- On your posts you have this written:

"God never said life would be easy, He just promised it would be worth it"

Put it all in God's hands and it will all work out. Maybe not the way you thought it would, but the way God wants it to.

Cathy---how about the title Hot Foxy Mama? It's the title I would give myself, whether true or probably not so true

Some how Lard Lady doesn't sound quite right, nor would Greasy Girl. If what you have written in your signature line is true I'm sure your husband probably feels about you as in the Trace Adkins song "One Hot Momma"

Praying Michelle, this is way to common in Michigan right now. We are waiting for it to happen to Dh. The company he works for is a demolition company, they are tearing down the old GM plants in Lansing and has done several other GM plants in MI and other states. They are currently hauling all their equipment off GM property this week because GM owes them over 4 Million and refuses to pay and is threatening to file bankruptcy, nice! Until they get more jobs, he may be laid off, or should I say, unless they get more jobs!

I have to agree that this whole economic situation is getting quite scary. I don't understand it. The banks were given money to be able to lend money. Now most banks are sending out letters reducing lines of credit to the amount owed. That doesn't sound like lending to me. For years I have leased trucks because it was the best way to manage company finances. Now they no longer have truck leases and I concerned about being able to finance a new one since our income has declined. But the thing to remember is that people got through the Great Depression so we will prevail as well.
