Speaking of DD, she's going to Flint next week for Forensic Finals! She's done so well this year - nothing lower then 3rd place. But we here that the downstaters judges are harder then usual! Wish us luck on both the eggs and her finals!

That is great for her!!! Best of luck to her and sorry to hear about the duck eggs.

Hillbillyhen - Those are nice looking pullets. You will enjoy them, we love the colored eggs here. I'm no expert, but that might be a roo.

Derek, those pictures are wonderful! What a personality she has! The skirt is amazing!!!

Thanks CAT! I can't wait to do it again. Salyna made the skirt for her. The theme of the dance was '50's.

Get better Sam.

It was a great day again. We let everyone out to play. It was a bit flooded, but they didn't seem to mind. Had one more Serama chick hatch today also!

I took a lot of pictures today. I'm uploading now. Hope you don't mind if I go into picture post overload.......

It seems like there's a lot of illness going around - I hope everyone feels better soon.

Can anyone think of a reason my 6 chickens who given us 5 to 6 eggs per day suddenly laid only 2 today? They're only 8 months old, so I don't think it's because they're too old. Was it the stormy weather yesterday? Any ideas?

The coffee is on if anyone wants a cup. Probably will need several cups before I get all of the posts read.

I was talking with my oldest son last night and he had a dozen pol red sex links given to him a few weeks ago and they are all laying now. Unfortunately, it also included a rooster. This bird doesn't even have spurs but evidently he has decided that he is in charge. When Joe checked on the birds yesterday his 3 year old black australorp rooster was just about dead. One eye gone, no feathers remaining on its head. He outweighs the new rooster by several pounds, has long spurs but is very gentle. Joe is concerned about just how aggressive the new roo will become once he has spurs so he will soon be headed to freezer camp.

I just read a headline that stated your zodiac sign could affect your choice in bathing suits. Initially, I thought how stupid, then I read the article and it said the ideal suit for Aquarians would be a low rise bottom with a skimpy crotched top. Maybe there is something to this theory...............at least for looking at.

Hello everyone!

For some reason BYC didn't recognize my password so I couldn't log on....guess it works now.

I am tired of rain, and wish it would dry up enough to get my trench from the house to the new barn for the new water line finished up. All I got is a moat!.....might as well put some alligators in it. Plumber has been very un cooperative in getting the lines coupled back together and one of them is my sump crock line.....so with all this rain I have water in the basement this morning and my little pump is doing all it can. I won't be using this plumber ever again.....the trench was dry Saturday morning when he said he was coming out.....he decided to mow his lawn instead, then came out after the rains......idiot!

Speaking of mowing.....I bought a mower, needs to have a new seat....otherwise low hours and well taken care of. Gave my other one to my son, he needed something and I was in a position to help him out and upgrade for me.

Grandson Aiden likes it!.....we call him Mr. Serious, sometimes he gets the most serious looking face on.

I was too. I don't think any of my parts ached like they do now. All of the old injuries are starting to develop calsium deposits so I now sound like a bowl of Rice Crispies when I get up.

If I'd get it in my head to lose 40 lbs I be back in shape....well, I guess round is a shape too.
