Well, I can't possibly keep up with all of the posts
Connected at a blistering 115 kbps
But I try to keep checked in from time to time so you all know I'm still kicking
HAHA If anyone needs me for anything (yeah right
) I try to keep up with my PMs anyhow
Thanks again Vicki for the new birds!!! My DH just ADORES the Serama (We named him Oberon but I call him Obie) he says I need more neat birds like that
I also put my S Sebright gal in with him and he is happy as a clam.... he must have short man syndrome though
Every morning he knocks the girls around a bit as if to remind them who's boss... then he runs them out of the cage and all is fine.... go fig
Crazy little roo. It was really good meeting you and I sure do hope we meet again
Birds sure are enjoying this weather
We ended up getting some geese from the feed store for this year and will get our order in early next year for some dewlap Toulouse like my daughter really wants. I ended up getting one each of the Toulouse, African and Embden as I don't know yet which breed I will like best for Christmas goose and which for pets.
Started digging my pond today...... still not sure how to line it... but I figure it will work itself out
I have faith
I left a little island in the center as I figure the birds will enjoy it
Will post pics when it's done..... and hopefully I will have faster internet by then! HAHAHA
Hope everyone is well and having a great summer so far!
Oh yeah... also put my Guinea Keets out yesterday..... they are SO feral acting.... trying like heck to get loose until we walked outside... they were AWESTRUCK! They didn't move or make a sound... I had to shoo them off my lap when I put them down because they had NO idea the world was so big!!
They're having a blast running around outside and were practicing flying today
And my Showgirl Poppet has gone BROODY! YAY!
I'm trying to not get too excited as I have never had a broody yet.... but it's day 3 and she's still on those eggs!
I am putting her in her own little space with food and water tomorrow
