I started out my morning opening the window and throwing my socks at an angry robin that thought his chief rival was his reflection in the basement window under me.

Well, we gave the bread to our friend at the feed mill, he loved it. I picked up another 100lbs for the meaties. The price went up again.

He said to expect the prices to go up and down alot this summer. That stinks, I wish I had place to store a ton of feed.
Off to fix some lunch for the kiddos!

morning everyone well by time im done writing this it will be afternoon! but anyway nice day outside gonna get some work done before i leave tonight to grand rapids to get my royal palm hens!!!

I got a late start today because i drove out to get a young pekin that was left from easter. These people adopted a lab and it got in and killed all there ducks except for this one which i hope is a girl! but the darn thing wont stop quacking and wanting to come into the house! i have it separated from my two geese and my little runners for now. Also the lady told me the age of the duck and its actually two days older than my runners but this pekin looks way older not sure if this is normal or the women gave me the wrong age. I see that there are still some fuzzies left on it and the wing feathers are still somewhat looking like pin feathers that are just opening. do u guys think it would be ok to put up something temperary next to the other ducks so that this one will quiet down? Well hope everyone is enjoying the day!!

Mine aren't feathered out yet, but I imagine that they'll get their feathers well before the runners do. Like I said, I'm pretty new so I don't want to give the wrong advice about putting it with the other ducks, so I'll let the experts answer that one

By the way, where are you getting the royal palms? I'd really like to get a few.

MJ, did you get my PM? It isn't anything important, I'm just not sure if they're getting sent. I had that problem last week and I think it might be happening again.
