well she has been tending to the little fuzz butt all day, added in a small stuffed animal to help the little guy out (seems to help with the chirping so much) making sure the water is cool and not to warm (this hot day is killing me) been keeping the little one occupied with lots of love​

We have an egg rocking and peeping - today was the due date. How long til it starts to hatch? DD has her heart on this little duckling. Its the 3rd hatch with only this one living!!!

well i made it to dallas tx today without too much of a fuss. I am worried about the state of affairs for the airlines though. My first flight from flint to atlanta, the plane had whole strips of paint missing, patches of carpet on the flooring gone, and looked like it hadn't been vaccumed in ages..... Then there was the funny sounding engine that I was sitting next to that refused to quit smoking..........

Took possession of the van today, as soon as I pulled it up to my folks house I blew two brake lines

I am hoping it'll cool down tonight so I can replace them.

My boy is loving it down here. He's never been in the homeland in full swing summer. It was 103+ here today. Needless to say my pastey buttsky was in the air as much as possible but my waaaaaaaaaaaaaay younger sibs want me to go swimming and my son is begging

Think I'll take a siesta by the pool. Ya'll have fun now ya hear?!

Wow Catray. I hope she passes them. I really don't know though.

Chickens are dealing with the heat pretty well so far. The turkeys are the only things panting, even in the full heat of the day. The shady area really helps I guess. Me on the other hand, I don't deal with this heat well.

MJ I am glad you liked the tomato juice.

So, today was parent orientation at MSU. My daughter will be attending in the fall.
And now I am in Lansing at the MSU campus till Friday. I decided to go and chaperone for the 4-H explorations days. So, here I am sitting in a NOT airconditioned room, sweating like there is no tomorrow. It really is a blast. The kids will be here tomorrow, so tonight is a peaceful night. Starting tomorrow at 8am, they will come. I will not lose my mind. No, really the kids are usually very good, but there is always one that will just make me crazy, and she came back this year!!! lol

I am very happy that the laptop is getting the internet in the room. They told us we would have to be in the lounge to get it. I am going to bed now. I have a long day tomorrow, those kids never sleep.
