I had to share a funny story. I walked out to the live trap last night to throw some mini marshmellows in. The chickens and turkeys were out in the yard and they follow me everywhere. Well there goes Maggie the BR leader, headed into the live trap to check out what I was doing. I almost caught me a chicken in that trap. I had to chase them all away. They are silly chickens.

I already match my Buff Orps. That is one reason I liked them, they have the same color feathers as my hair. LOL. I already know I am a little weird.

was finishing up the addition on the duck house yesterday, when Hub was a work and got the doors hings on and locks, when to put in the windows, had to put 4 extinction cords together to have it long enough to get out there, for the saw, get everything ready to cut the window out, and the stupid jig saw wouldn't work

call the hub to find out what is wrong with it, his Say's oh I for got to tell, its broke thats way i didn't do before,

My son is coming home from camp today, his been up in Rose city for the week, with the Church.
no more computer time for me

we are moving another coop today and hoping to get a lot done. we'll see!

we all do have some cute dogs! that picture of Ashland was after my first incubation. she was exhausted from watching them all pop out! she was like a nervous mother! running back and forth. too funny.


hey, Cat, we could line everyone up on my front porch and cut and color all of us! i have electric out there! we could hook up dryers too. we can all turn to the side so we can each be putting heat on the person in front of us! assembly line hair dos!

then we can all go to get chicken feed looking pretty foxy and get our cars loaded up and then back here for picnic lunches! wouldn't that be a riot! too funny. foxy chicken ladies!

I have a funny chicken story/question....do hens ever crow? lolololol woke up this morning to crowing. None of my "girls" look like boys. So ...i am confused. Or at least on of my chicks is....

All the pictures of smashed faced dogs reminded me that Hope's sister had a Pug that I always called BUD. She kept telling me the dog's name was Peaches and I kept calling it BUD. She finally asked one day and didn't see the humor when I explained that it was a acronym.

I got the house work done. With some help from my oldest son Collin. He did the mopping. Right now he is sitting on the couch looking through the Randall Burkey catalog telling me what incubator he thinks would be best. I am raising a couple chicken farmers here. Brody already says he is a chicken farmer.
