Hi Everyone,

Chickens I have are 30 Isa Brown hens 1 Roo that wont crow or breed and he's 1 1/2 yrs old. LOL At least he's friendly.

50 Color Range chicks that are a week old, 50 Vantress X chicks same age. And 1 Americana Roo that is meaner than the dickens. Attacked me twice already today. He's darn lucky he's such a handsome guy!!!

Hoping to purchase some Black Copper Marans chicks from someone in Michigan soon and also looking for some Std Cochins in blk and blue also Andalusians. So if you know anyone with any , please let me know. In the shape Michigan is in, I would rather spend my money here if possible.

Pat: Yes Im going to the Armada Fair next week. We should meet up as gosh knows I need some help with raising chickens. I havent done so in over 20 yrs. But boy its been fun to getting back into it. As I love caring for the babies.

Everyone enjoy this beautiful day. Im off to the Dream Cruise with my 68 El Camino...be the first time taking it out there. Should be fun.

Good Afternoon!

I haven't heard anything more about the dog. And yes, I agree, they haven't fostered this dog well.

Got a double batch of refrigderator pickles done this morning. need to get the brocolli and beans done. I am procrastinating.

My #3 child is not feeling well. I hope she gets better, I want to go to Owosso Speedway tonight and watch Jon race. Only time will tell.

Welcome new members! We are all meeting up in October at fowlfest in Frankenmuth. Hope to see you there!

Howdy everyone!!! It's been a busy week chasing kids and doing all the appointments. Tomorrow the fam and I will be going to Caseville for the Cheeseburger Festival. Anybody else going?

Actually we are going because they have one of the nicest beaches in all of southern Michigan

Have a great time! We have our annual church picnic and baptisms tomorrow.

Hoping tonight to go to Owosso Speedway, Gretchen is still on the couch, so not sure it will happen or not.

Well, got home a little bit ago from the MI State dog show. I did run into 19Sarah90 there. (sorry I missed you Wynette) I spent the entire morning in ring 5 helping out. It was a blast. Our 4-H kids did an awesome job. 9 of our kids went and we won a total of 20 metals and 8 ribbons. One of our girls won novice high point. I sure am proud of those kids. I almost wish that next year was not my daughters last year. (empty nest coming up starting 8/26) That is when we move her to the dorm at MSU. I am totally excited and totally freaking out. (what a stable mom I am)

My dear sweet 7 month old grandson is in the hospital. He has been diagnosed with infantile spasms. I think everything will be ok. I have tons of hope and faith. (but any extra you have to share, please feel free to send my way)

All my new chicks are getting so big. I really will try to get some pics for those who I got them from. (and of course if anyone else wants to see them)

You will do fine with the empty nest...you already have poultry to fill it up!

Praying for your grandson. It is never easy having family in the hospital, especially babies.

I can't sleep!!! YUCK Probably about the time I finally get back to sleep it will be time to get up and go help clean up the town and tear down booths from the festival. Sigh...........................................................

well, our target time to leave is around 8:00 am. Surprisingly enough, 2 out of 3 of the daughters here are ready to roll already, and the wife is almost there!

It'll be nice to wade out into the big lake on a hot day. Isn't it supposed to be 90 something in mid michigan today?
