Good Afternoon!

We have lots of puddles of water around here. Last night while the girls and I were at church, Jon had the job of closing the coop door after dark. Well, he got out there and a opposoum was in the coop. He got lead poisoning and there won't be any more trouble with him. No chickens were harmed

Jon and I went up to the American Legion's last night at 10pm....I know I am crazy with the day I had yesterday! But the band was playing and they are good! There was a benefit for one of the ladies that works there, she has breast cancer. The place was packed. I even got to visit with a distant cousin of mine! My grandpa Heeg and his grandma Haller are siblings. It is a small world

Had a great time at church this morning, and I am tired so I am going to take a nap before we have my nephew's 3rd birthday party.

My nephew's b-day party had 2 clowns. Funny how the little kids don't like them much! balloon creations were what got them to come near them.
My 3 year old, Nathan, thinks he saw Captain Hook tonight! My sister's neighbor has a prothestic arm and Nathan walked over to him and just stared at him. Then the neighbor walked over to him and touched him with it and Nathan freeked out. Peter Pan is Nathan's new favorite movie. I was chuckling at the whole thing.

I only can say that school is for younger folks that is they have better backs to carry their books. Thank god for chiroprators.

Good morning all. My broody EE got confused and sat on the wrong nest. I gently removed her and put her back on her original nest. I hope she wasn't off for too long. The wrong nest had cold eggs so i am hoping it wasnt very long. I now know how many eggs she was on, just three.
Jason, I have been wondering how school was going for you. If you are planning on going to chickenstock please try to sign up so Opa can get a figure on how many are planning on attending. You said that you would go if you had to walk, so if we see you walking we will pick you up.
