Have been reading along, but haven't posted here recently.
All the chicks are getting bigger and more feathery by the day. The silkies don't look too rough but the brahma and the ee look haggard.
They were pushing around and knocked over their little feeder so not they have a bigger one. Might just give them the bigger waterer soon too.
They've also taken up flapping their wings and chasing each other around in the morning. The partridge silkie is on the bottom of the pecking order for sure, just by the way she acts around the others it's obvious. She does sometimes stand up to the other birds, if only for a moment, and it is kind of funny to watch.
Still waiting to see how many of them take to crowing. BF has a friend with a small farm who is going to take any roosters we have.
Other than that life has been alright.
Saw the dentist about a cavity that needs filling, found out about 3 others that will need work too. Also found out where my lower wisdom teeth went,
right into my other teeth. If they become problematic I'm going to have to have them surgically removed, but for now they aren't doing any harm so they can stay right where they are.
