I love the goat! beautiful!!! We picked up a 2yr old pair (hen and roo) Wyandotts and they are proving to be an awnry little pair. grr. They managed to peck the backs and tails of each and every one of my broilers. They didnt touch any of our other hens or pullets. Some of my bantys seem to have decided to foster the pullets and were all snuggled up. My hubby is out in the henhouse still, cleaning up blood and fencing off the youngins...and trying to figure out a way to let my bantams in with the pullets and broilers without letting the other hens in. may be a long night. Kinda looks funny in there right now with ten purple/blue broilers.
any tips on taming the wyandotts? this pair has been together for 2yrs and they are very attached to each other so I dont want to get rid of the roo, they arent very friendly either so I am wondering how handled they really were, I think the old owner was lieing to me about how he cared for them. grrr
