thank you,

I am so grateful that it did not break down on my way home from Chickenstock. Being a half hour from home is much better than two hours.
I am grateful that the homeless guy did not try to harm me- did not ask me for a dime- did nothing wrong as I was stranded there with no other people around.
I am grateful that my husband can fix my van.
I am grateful that I was able to help the goose.
Grateful that my son did not get his car impounded for something like drunk driving. etc.
And grateful that I have a house to have a water leak.

See? It could all be much much worse. I am so hot, and its been a long day. I woke up this morning telling the girls that we were going fishing and swimming somewhere- we would find a place.

That didnt happen, but they did get ice cream inside an airconditioned shop. So, that makes things better.

I went to a flea market today, lots of tables were full of ol rusty stuff and obvious tools. All the people who had tools I asked them about a brass trombone sprayer (since I wouldn't really know what I was looking at if it was right under my nose) and nobody had one. I was trying to look out for ya. Bay City has lots of second hand stores, fleas, etc. Someday we'll find one.

Gosh, Mom! You have had a bad day. Hope things look up for you soon!!

It sure was hot today! Spent the day in the pool and then out for ice cream!! I know how to beat the heat! Had some rain, but not much. I went out into our backyard and there stood one of my chickens in the water bowl. Guess she knows how to beat the heat, also! Had to post the pic on FB.

Stay cool friends!

Wow, bad days all around. What's up with that?
My truck suffered a major break-down on Wednesday right before I was supposed to go up north for school. At least I had the motorcycle and got up there but didn't have all of the equipment I needed.
Anyway, got through school and made it home about 20 minutes before the storms rolled through here.

After the storms, I get a call to bring my chainsaws to a friend's house...his entire street is blocked in by fallen trees. Edison and the fire department need some help and I can't get there without my truck. On top of that, I wrenched my knee and can barely walk.

Maybe tomorrow, I can limp my sorry butt over there and clean them up.

I blame it all on global warming.

well I had a GREAT day, great finds at the flea, and my DH ran out bare-footed and put my baby Giants in the coop before the rain drenched em. OOOOOO, barefoot in chicken pooooooo

You betcha. I think I'll be cutting a lot of firewood tomorrow.
I'm hoping I can make enough cash to repair my truck.

I have some pictures for you all to tell me what type of goose the new one is....

maybe Krisrose will give me her opinion...and she can see Penelope, too...

Libby is by the fence- thats the new one. Henry is the beast in the middle...and Penelope is behind Henry..

This shows how big Henry is and Penelope, too..look at her baby fuzz! New goose Libby is small! No baby feathers!
