lol it will rain soon! With this heat we usually get evening thunder storms. Come on rain!!

I'm looking forward to not having to use the kettle to steam up water for the hatches (heat up water like for tea, then pour it in, to try and pump up humidity for hatching.) then again, if humidity didn't matter, i could hatch in my garage, by putting eggs on the worktable for a month 103>98 all summer long.

Seriously though, are you on the west side of the state? It's bright and sunny here in A2, a bit overcast up toward Opa, but blue skies south, east and west as far as the eye can see. Forecast is not looking like rain in the SE for a couple of days.

Yep, rainbarrels overflowing, think I'll look for some nightcrawlers for the birds. It was a massive downpour! Still some thunder but I think the worst is past. Any BYC'rs just east of Twin Lake should be getting the brunt now. Hang on to your hats....

Downpour in Grand Rapids right now. It's pitch black here.....I am sure we will lose power at my house. I guess I didn't really need to water the vegetable garden this morning. sheesh.....

Do any of you near Ann Arbor have any fertile eggs (or babies that are due to hatch this week?) I've got YET ANOTHER broody, lol. Actually - I'll be in Brighton on SAturday, so if you are near Brighton I could pick up then too.

The downpours hit here a little after nine. Much needed so I just sat and watched it come down in buckets with a smile on my face. Won't have to water the garden today.

Now it's just overcast and windy. I haven't been out since the storm but am headed out now and I imagine it's going to get pretty humid out there now.
