Good Morning-

Sam, Im just finishing the pot of coffee.. The geese saw me through the bathroom window and are hollering for me to get out there and feed em; I was trying to wait for some sun- just a little bit so I can see where I am walking.

My son is home.

He hasnt been around for three weeks that I have seen. The girls tell me he runs in and runs right back out some days. No, he isnt working. He has been staying at his girlfriends. I was just about ready to tell him I was packing up his stuff and giving his sister his room, and now he is in there sleeping.

The mallards have wing feathers now. Soon- very soon- they are going to be able to fly over their fence and make it to my pond. In fact, they could do it now but nobody has told them that yet. *sigh*
I can finally see in my pond. I have fish!!!! I dont want six mallards swimming in it.

Mr saddi asked tonight about getting a pond or a lake. I told him a duplex doesn't come with a pond, and he said that's good as he's decided he perfers marriage to breathing.

I sweetly offered to hold a pillow over his head till he stopped kicking.

I'm up. I'm up. Five more minutes would have been nice...
Coffee is brewed and one eye is open.

Even got a load of laundry in.
Getting ready for another docent tour at Matthaei today (6-8 year olds).

My pond has been crystal clear since the big clean. I can see clear to the bottom and the butterfly koi in between. Of course the duckweed is rapidly taking over the surface so I'll soon have to part the waters to see anything. This duckweed came from school along with some Potamogetons and salamander eggs.

Man I am not having a great morning......

I am dog sitting and my flippin mangy rescue got so excited and playful yesterday that she just plowed me down chasing after my friends dog. I think my shoulder popped out of place as I am in a tremendous amount of pain. THEN this morning she resorts into one of her many bad habits of stealing food (which we've worked SO hard to try to curb her of by not giving her time or opportunity to do it). Today....she does it right in front of me. This particular habit I have come to detest becuase this 60lb dog has a sensitive stomach and 95% of the time will have some reaction that I will end up have to clean up when I get home.

Ok. I'm done. Let me get off to work so I can be in medicated bliss. (I wait until I am stationary to take the strong stuff)

I got up at 5 am, went to let my girls out, came in and dozed back off. I dreamed about EGGS, i dreamed that I was swimming in eggs, eggs up to my hips wading thru them, every color egg of the rainbow every size egg...
I was giddy in the dream and amazed that my 21 girls could lay so many eggs just for me, LOL.. it was a weird one considering I have yet to see a egg from my girls, 18 weeks old this week I have BR's which I adore, Delawares, RIR's,
EE's, a single Hamburg, which is just the neatest bird, and the 3 EE's Roo's, I am still looking for a home for 2 Roo's, for freeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I am egg obsessed.....
