The one is out of shape and the other looks pretty good!. A couple weeks ago I got a triple yoker.

I gave my chickens some grapes that my parents grew....HOLY COW! They went nuts over them!

I bet I will find purple poo though....

I have one chicken though that doesn't come out of the coop with the others. So I have to deliver her fruit. Plus I break open the grape tomatoes for her....lol She loves the seeds. MY husband said that is so spoiled, which she is. She is my favorite.... She is so timid

I wish my Black Australorps would start laying! I know my Brahma won't lay for awhile, since she is still growing....she's huge already.

Good Morning, BYCers! Hope this will be another pretty day. Had a tiny bit of rain yesterday evening, but most of the day was beautiful. Gave me the opportunity to top off all the chicken feeders and give everyone fresh water. Bunnies fresh water and food, check. Fish in pond fed, check. Tomorrow I go in and have laser therapy for my huge vein in my right leg. Hoping the pain and discomfort will be gone after this. It's been a long 8 months.
Now I understand you, chicwanaB

Blame in on Paxil!

My chickens love grapes! It's funny to see them go nuts over them. The newbies are still trying to figure out what treat time is all about. They come running when I do my call, but then get so confused on what's going on. I make sure I get them some food, but it's like they get overwelmed. They're still not sure of the older hens, either.
Have a good day!

There always seems to be one sweetl one in every flock! I have a little OE Bantam who is the tiniest, cutiest little thing. She'd be a good mamma because when I can't find her she's in the nesting box sitting on eggs.....sometimes 3- 4 at once! lol

People posting pictures of their eggs???
People naming their chickens????
People serving their chickens in bed???
Are you people nuts???

Of course you are and I'm happy to have joined the madness.

Broil gave me another perfect egg this morning. Even her double yolker was perfect in shape.
But she is not getting breakfast in bed...I do have a limit to my madness.

No bear worries?? We have one in our area and prior to vacation DH SMELLED it when wallking in our woods. The smell was gone when he returned home but I'm a little hesitant now.....and it isn't light out yet!! Yikes.

No bear issues, the area is too much open farmland, I think. Though we are in the territory of a pack of 8 wolves.
