I read your post about your friend's car accident and nearly had a heart attack. I thought you were in the car. I'm glad you weren't but I feel bad for your friend. By the time I was 15 I had already lost 2 friends to car accidents. Maybe that had something to do with my decision not to drive until I was 18. Cars are scary and driving is a huge responsibility. I hope she and her boyfriend recover soon and without complication. I bet their parents are glad they're alright. That's one thing all of us parents have in common, the dread that something will happen to one of our kids.

I need to get in the mood for baking. Got this recipe from a friend of mine...


Once again this year, I've had requests for my Tequila Christmas Cake recipe so here goes: Please keep in your files as I am beginning to get tired of typing this up every year! 1 cup sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 1 cup water ... 1 tsp. salt 1 cup brown sugar Lemon juice 4 large eggs Nuts 1 bottle tequila 2 cups dried fruit Method: Sample the tequila to check quality. Take a large bowl; check the teq...uila again to be sure it is of the highest quality. Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point, it is best to make sure the tequila is still OK. Try another cup just in case. Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 eegs and add to the bowl and chuck iin the cup of dried fruit. Pick the fruit up off the floor. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit getas stuck in the beaterers, just pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the tequila to test for tonsisticity. Next, sift 2 cups of salt, or something. Check the tequila. Now shift the lemon ice strain your nuts. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find. Greash the oven. Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over. Don't forget to beat off the turner. Finally, throw the bowl through the window. Finish the tequila and wipe the counter with the cat.

Grandma, where are you getting that bedding? Is is expensive? I ended up with leaves this winter, but woiuld feel 100% better if i had something i could scoop!

I am planning on wearing this "flapper style", no fold up brim. The hat was an early christmas present, and i totally look like a bag lady in stretchy hats! So i decorated it BYC style....

The way i'm uploading is by highlighting either the code for the thumbnail or full size, then press Ctrl c and x out of the upload screen and putting the cursor on the line and pressing Ctrl v

I don't know who, but someone on here told me this way, and it works every time!

Homework today was a complete bust. Data files are corrupt and/or have encryption problems. Six wasted hours trying to fix the problem.

Did get an egg from Nugget a few minutes ago, that's 5 for today.
