It shows a bunch of tracks and identifies them- they are not to scale, but it still lets you see toe placement, etc to identify what is in your yard at night.

Maybe someone can help me out here please and maybe not, but it's worth a shot. I am going to try and provide all the necessary info. If I ramble on my bad. I have a large white wyandotte rooster approximately 6 months age, standard bred/show quality. I have owned him for approximately 1 month. He is kept with 2 other white pullets, same age and purchased at the same time. Anyway last Tuesday or Wed I found the rooster unable to stand almost paralysis like in his legs. Other wise healthy. 25 yrs raising birds I have never seen such a thing except for when feeding out broiler chickens. From what little I know of it, immediately I thought it could be Merak’s or possible some poisoning. Other than that I have no idea what it could be. I have found mixed info for possible remedies. Each day since I have been giving him a dissolved dose of a holistic drug called Hypericum (nerve pain) and cod liver oil with a syringe down the birds throat. He crows and gets around by like almost creeping along and flapping his wings but does not stand or walk upright. He appears and looks healthy otherwise. This rooster is too valuable to me to not try and keep around for breeding. I am at my wits end. I have no idea whats wrong or can do to help him out. Would I call a vet for a chicken..for this one maybe. There is one office that I know of that works with exotics and birds. Does anyone have any ideas? What can I do? Thank you for any help.

Where are you located? I am getting some chicks tomorrow. They are new hatches. A woman that sells them in Capac. If that is too far for you I could pick one up for you and then pick it up at my place. I live in Davison. She's an hour north east from me.

When I rehab opossums, I use canned catfood, dry catfood and scrambled eggs for the babies. They love that stuff.

I just went out and checked the chicks.

Of the five- two have dark skin, and feathered feet. Looks like only four toes on each foot, but its rather hard to see them at this size, and from a distance. I am rather excited to see if anyone hatches out in the incubator. I think not knowing what kind will hatch adds to the excitement. I like to hatch out EEs for the same reason. Mystery eggs

I am about 20 minutes south of Charlotte. About 30 minutes south of Lansing. If it was summer the drive to your town wouldn't be bad. It looks like it is mostly I 69 driving. Thanks anyway.

You should put this one on the emergency/diseases section of the forum, if you haven't already. Sounds really serious. You gotta isolate right away if you haven't already. You said he was show quality; did you show him without having him vaccinated, or recently vaccinate? I have read of instances where vaccinated birds have been "carriers" of the illness, especially in the few days/ week that it was done, while the bird was processing the vaccine. If you vaccinated, he might have been unable to process the vaccine. At any rate, this is definitly serious and if you have the money i'd go to the vet to at least see what you're dealing with, as your other birds have been exposed. Not trying to be gloom and doom, but there have already been so many losses recently on this thread.... Hate to see people losing birds.
