Maybe you need an invisible fence. Or a leash. LOL!

She had been out quite awhile, on a long rope. I put her in the house, closed the door, and then closed the outer door going in to the back porch. Went out and sat with the hens for a bit and enjoyed the piece and quiet.
When I went back to the porch and opened the door, the lab was in the back porch and shot out like lightening. She can push the other door open herself from the kitchen to the porch and I didn't know she was in there. Going to have to put a reminder note to self and hubby on the porch door, to open SLOWLY and watch for lab.

Our 9 mo old blonde chihuahua always goes out on a small rope too, because he don't come when called, and doesn't know the dangers of the road. All 6 other dogs know the rule and we don't have problems with them.

LOL! What a stinker. Nova is right though, the wireless invisible fence is fabulous might be a good option for the two of them.

I worked all day and am so tired, but have taken the time to go through the posts because I really don't want to have another 16 page bender.

Theron- that puppy is just too darn cute. I want one now.
Nova- mischievious or no, I like your duckies.

loud stinkers! They're great. I really am starting to like them. I have to yell at them in Spanish. Lol.

I went to the faverolle thread... Asked about breeders in my area, or close, and do you know... Those people over there didn't bother even answering... Now I remember why I unsubscribed from that thread... So clique-ish...

I found that to be on a lot of the threads. I would ask a question and no one would even bother or if someone did they were real snotty. I thank God I found the Michigan thread. I was just about to wash my hands of BYC. So glad I didn't and found the Michigan thread. Some of these people forgot how is was to be new and that a lot of us, like me, are real new to chickens. But I found a good group of peopl now. Thank you all.

I think a lot of people just don't answer when they don't know. Which is preferable to those who answer with misinformation, if you ask me.

Nova -- I checked my ALBC directories. I didn't find any breeders in MI, but did find 3 in OH. Would you like their info?

I have never met the man myself. So, I am glad to hear a different point of view about his personality. Maybe the 2 people who told me what they thought about him just didn't get his funny personality. I am a bit quirky myself, so ya never know. His birds are very pretty from what I have seen on his ads...
