I so do not know about chicken coloring. LOL. But then again, I am not breeding to get a certain color. I will worry about that later when I start breeding faverolles...
Ok, so I went and did my candling. Of the 7 eggs, 5 were developing. 2 had absolutely no development. Which I guess is good, cuz when I candled them, they looked pourous. They were the wyandottes eggs. SO, both of Buffy's eggs are growing well. Then the 2 cochins mutts and Asters eggs. The one egg of Buffys, is a little behind the other ones, but developing nicely. YEAH! I cracked open the other ones that were not doing anything to look, and doesn't even look like they were fertilized at all. Glad I didn't just leave it to nature! LOL. Those would have been some stinky eggs.
