Sorry to read of your loss. I know that with Daisy being 16 I will be facing the same in the near future. Never easy to face. They give us so much unconditionally.

I certainly didn't intend to offend anyone with my suggestion about using Remington or Winchester on cats. I LOVE cats. It's just that I couldn't eat a whole one.

Jenny I was there cold wasn't the word for it!! But all the awesome birds was worth the cold. I wish I wore a winter coat hat and gloves I would have stayed a lot longer. I think I need some show birds now I would love to put birds in the show. I bought 12 raffle tickets I don't think I won anything

Oh I know!! It was soooooo cold! My daughter was wearing a tshirt, a hoodie, and two zip up hoodies lol I had one hoodie on and tried to stay out of the wind! They had some really nice looking birds there. Did you see the Andulasian (sp?) roosters?!?! Amazing! I love that blue color.

I sold everYthing I took other then 3 barred rock pullets I really didn't want to come home with.

Well, I lost a family member last night. My little Cocker Spaniel died of old age. I knew it was coming just hard to accept is all.

So sorry to hear about your dog My dogs are getting up there in age and I'm not looking forward to dealing with losing either of them.

It was strange started out a little bug bite that I barely even noticed, but just kept getting bigger. Yes I did go to the doc twice for it was on 2200 mil of some sort of antibiotic a day plus a nasty shot that hurt like heck.

Looks like Mrsa, very nasty stuff. I hope it's better then the picture by now...if not keep on top of it because you don't want to let it get out of control like that.

I had a nasty infection like that last year (not from bite though) and was on daily IV antibiotics and 3 oral antibiotics. It can take over if you let it!

RBahmer, So sorry to hear about your dog, they truly are members of the family. We lost our doberman and lab both about 2 years ago, my 5 year old still talks about missing Katie (our lab).
