It's probably more costly, but the galvanized fencing will last betterDrat. The chicken wire that is all ready wrapped around the garden is rusted. From what I can read I should probably replace it before I let the chickens run around in it so now we are one step back on the coop and run construction.

OK, my orpington is officially broody. I have the "chicken hickies" to prove it (was that you that called them that, Nova?) I had to literally force her out of the nest today, though she was clearly relieve once she hit dirt. I hadn't seen any broody poos, and i'm not losing another one, even if she is a witch.

Finally got to walk out to my friend's property, to see the lady slippers! there are hundreds, there are quite a few in bloom already
