If I bring chicks to CS how will my chicks have water for the ride or will they be ok for two hours?

You could also get one of those portable dog water bottles and bowl. What it is, is a water bottle bowl contraption that flips open to give the dog a drink, and then flips back shut... meant for when you are walking your dog... would eliminate a mess then if you are concerned.

My poor dog has, apparently, had a coon treed all day. Let them all out at 6:30 this morning and the lab mutt never came back in. I saw him, periodically throughout the day, always laying under one tree, occasionally looking upward. It's not uncommon for him to stay out when the weather is nice. He's an outside kind of dog. Unless it's 90 or -20 he's happiest out of doors, so I didn't think much of it. I was just out there working the border collie pup and I happened to look upward, myself. At first I thought, well that's a big old birds nest...

Walked around the tree a bit to get a better look and sure enough it was a coon. Poor old guy. I guess he earned his dinner tonight.

I saw milkweed for sale,I hate the stuff but the flutterflys love it.

Mine is starting to bloom, both the common and the swamp species. I check everyday for monarch eggs and caterpillars. I showed the kids how to look for eggs and caterpillars today at MBG,

There is water at Delta park, so bring your waterers to fill. Bring them food as well. And something to shade them in case you are stuck in a sunny spot.

It was visiting for the weekend, doing tours and taking people on flights at $450 for 35 minutes and a view of the straits. My son got the tour.

City Council meetings are so tedious.

Oh wow, I hope the outcome is better than that. I agree, maybe presenting them with examples of guidelines that other big cities have put in place would help. I don't know what all the regulations are, but I know that to one degree or another New York, Chicago, and Ann Arbor all allow chickens, and many, many other cities as well.

My son just emptied half a bottle of air freshener on the floor... just sprayed the rug in the bathroom and the tile.

Man, it is so much funnier when it happens to other people!

Last weekend I noticed they had Virginia Creeper for sale at the garden center... $10 / pot!!! I could be rich.

They are good eating but they need to be a lot bigger to make a decent meal.
