If you find an Amish in the area that does train horses (and donkeys) to drive, let me know. I would definitely be interested in that name and number!No...never heard of this. Can you fill me in? I was just commenting to my husband yesterday that it would be great to be able to find some Amish that do horse wagon repairs or even break horses to drive...I know there are out there but heck if I know how to find them. Never thought about using one for a butcher. There aren't any Amish communities really close to us; but probably about an hour away so might be doable.

Nova, I have a black silkie hen who is sooooo broody and I'm not really "into" the blacks....let me think about it some more and maybe I'll bring her along if you're interested. She's a sweety, I just don't need any black hens. (probably about 1-1.5yr old)
That is what I was thinking... I had read 2 other articals on there that seemed fudged. I wasn't pleased with their citing and referances, or for that matter quotes...Do not believe anything you read on Natural News. Better yet: don't read Natural News.
