Ha! Lets see... more alpacas will go on the priority list directly below everything else. So maybe next year.. or 2014. 12-15 months to reach breeding age, another almost 12 months for gestation, how long does it take to wean those little stinkers? A few months? So we're looking at mid 2016?

I think we should just wait for the kids to get bored of them, me to come to my sense and realize how much work my fiber plans will entail that I don't have time for and you can have these ones. LOL!

Happy Birthday Olive's hubby.

Thanks, I'll tell him you said so. I'm making his favorite dinner, chicken cordon bleu and have a cherry cake with buttercream frosting for dessert. Just waiting for the second tier to cool so I can finish icing it. He's also been getting a small gift each day for his "birthday week" so he better profess this to be a "happy" one or he gets my boot to his manly bits.

oops. I think that is a plan. We will wait. AND.... what time is dinner? It will take me about a half hour to get to your place.

I'm happy to share some with you. Unlike RB I actually DO like their wool, I'm actually thinking about trying to procure either more alpacas or some sheep for more wool. That's why I'm not selling it at this point. I have plans for it. I don't need it all though. Would you prefer white Suri or chocolate brown Huacaya?
