Yeah I know! It must not have been too long because I read that you were on your way and I think I left 15 minutes later. Hey, you do know where I live you know!! lol
I have a question that I know has been discussed here many times but as usual, it's one of those things I didn't pay attention to because it didn't affect me at the time.
How old is too old for chickens to be butchered to eat? I have some chickens I want to thin out. I'm not sure if they're still laying and I don't have time to figure it out. I want to sell them really cheap or give them to my nephew if he'll take them when he picks up chicks this weekend. I know some are around 4 years old and the rest are between 2-3 years old.
oh wow! Ya, that would make me mad too!
Yeah what's up with that...I think she owes us now!! lolUh ya, bake cookies AFTER I seen you !!!!! That cat is no longer around here lol.
haha you tell her!!Yeah RB! The poor woman just had blood drawn and you couldn't even stop by for coffee?!? Tsk! Give her heck next time, Keyt.
Never. The older they get the slower you cook them. Nothing more, nothing less. I'd pressure cook the 4 year olds, use the meat in soup or gravy or the like... something where it's shredded and then I'd make stock from the carcasses. The older the bird, the better the stock. The 2 year olds I'd slow roast in liquid heavy dishes.
That's just cruel!!!Meanie hahaha
Good morning Michigan, another beautiful clear-sky sunny morning, maybe someday I will get tired of saying that.
2 things I don't do - count my chickens (I always get it wrong anyway) and weigh myself.
