Oh no! Sorry Daron. Maybe you could call Olive?
Well, I am back home, but with lots of issues!![]()
Need some quick help!
All vet offices are close, can't get any help from them at the moment.
The cow have Mastitis, I found that she had it last night, and we got the Penicillin injectable and Flumix-Meglumine injection for her. Also one of our AGH hogs had given birth I do not know when for we were on vacation. But she had 2, but they were dead for I think more than a day, but the sow is acting like that she is still in labor, we were told to give her Penicillin injectable and Flumix-Meglumine injection for her and Oxytocin too.
We lost the the paper from the vet that tells how much cc of mediation in the needle we have to give to the cow, and the pig.
Thanks for any help!!!
Milliliters are the exact same as one cubic centimeter. 1mL = 1 ccWe have needles that are mls not ccs.

Daron, The PenG can be administered at 1mL per 100 lbs of bodyweight, not to exceed 10mL, to both the cow and pig. The Oxytocin can also be given to pork chop at .75-1mL from what I can find. The dosing info I can locate says 1.5mL for sows, but she's at best 1/2 the size of a normal sow. (Disclaimer: I'm in the middle of two batches of bread and butter pickles so my search was quick) I'm sorry I can't be more precise but we use Lutalyse, not Oxy, so I don't have any on hand. I also am not familiar with any indications for the Flumix for PorkChop. The other I had recommended last night was Banamine to reduce her fever. I don't know if the Flumix will act in the same way as I've never used it. You could try looking it up, but I don't think it's even approved for use in swine.
I'll copy and paste this in a PM to you, too.
