Hey, you never know how they will do until you try. Sarah has taken birds that she would have never thought would do anything and they do great. Depends on how the bird shows and condition, the bird could be top quality but may not place well because it's nervous and hides in the corner, she may surprise you
Hope she does.....
We don't do complete baths this time of year. We spot wash, dirty feet and feathers, plus of course clip nails and beaks. The key we have found is to keep them as clean as possible before show time. We also shine/clean combs, legs and beaks, with VetRx or Sweet oil the morning of the Judging and spray them with Luster's Pink Hair Spray to give them a little extra shine to their feathers. Once she is clean just keep her in a pen with plenty of clean dry shavings and she should be fine, and just do spot checks on show day
Thanks! Ill do that...How do i clean just her feet...Soak them?
