Such a pretty egg carton! Which breeds with which eggs?

Pink large ones (like the one on the bottom left) came from sapphire gems, blue came from my true ameraucana, tan came from either my dominiques or my wyandottes, and then the dark red is from Felicity, one of my Majesty's. Haha I just need Olive Eggers now.

I can’t wait for my MMMs to start laying, though I got a wait since they are only 8 weeks old. Their feathers are beautiful! I ordered two from Hoover’s and one had bare legs and one had feathered legs, it’s kinda nice since I can tell who is who. Lady is the most social out of the chicks I got from Hoover’s and my favorite since she’s such a lap bird.

They are! Most of her eggs are either double or triple yolk. I feel so bad for her. Wish she would take a break

Just for fun: here is my midnight majesty maran at 8-9 weeks. They are beautiful!

I recently purchased some Midnight Majesty Maran chicks from my local Rural King store. I had never heard of this breed before and I can’t seem to find much information about them. They were labeled as hybrids so that generally means good egg layers? Can anyone educate me as to the origin and characteristics of this strain?

I bought a pullet from TSC last fall. She doesn’t lay dark eggs. They are light brown. She’s a sweet girl though and lays pretty well.
