Mille Cochin Info

The baby frizzles are not too impressive looking, but most all the MFC are not impressive looking at that age. I'd like very much to see them after their adult color comes in. I hope they look as spectacular as a frizzled tolbunt polish!!! I can't wait to see how those turn out. Keep the pics coming, okay?

I think Frizzles are the cutest when they are between 8 and 14 weeks. Thats when they just start to feather out and show what potential they might have as an adult. Havent dealt with any Mille colored Cochins so I wouldnt know what to expect from them at that age.

I have one little frizzle cochin that is absolutely adorable... he went through a long not so cute phase though... but now he's a total powder puff! I would love to see some frizzle mille cochins!
On another note, I also have a pair of mille cochin project birds auction listed here if anyone is interested in using them in their project... https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=409549 . They really are such wonderfully sweet little birds... I wish I had room to keep them all!!!

We took our milles to their first show today! Brought a roo, a hen & 2 pullets. There was pretty good interest in the color. Very enjoyable visiting with breeders. Some really gave of their time! My back & feet are killin me though from the cement floor--but great fun to talk chicken all day
