I believe you will get some decent coloring with these chicks! Of course, they can fool us but the wing feathers already show such promise. The next few months are going to be a wonderful adventure.

Hello old friends

I know I've been away for a while and I want you to know that I do frequently think about this thread and have kept tabs on it now and again but, got caught up in life. I love everyone's progress. It's amazing how far we've come.

I had my camera stolen late winter and was just able to replace it a couple of months ago so, NOW I CAN POST SOME PICS!! Here's what I started with this Spring


I hatched from this guy and from a partridge roo. This is my best mille pair. I also have some mottleds in the grow out.




I will try and get some pics of the partridge crosses too. They are so stunning!! not so much mille but, there feather quality is fabulous and their color is so vibrant. Talk to you guys soon, Erin

Wonderful to hear from you. I know how life can get in the way of "living'~! Especially in the Summer with all the extra work. Can't wait to see your progress with the partridge crosses. We'd all (especially me) love to hear from you whenever you have time.

Wonderful photos of some fantastic birds! How great that you are still working hard on this project and it really shows. Can't wait to see more photos! You have some real beauties!

Not really but from what I've learned on this thread if bread to the right roo they will through mille chicks. But you better off with answers from WestKnollAmy or somebody else who have been breeding these for a couple years.

ohh ok. I bought them because they were intresting looking. and they were cheap, Most likely a cull from someones project
