Mille Cochin Info

I would hold on to the top one, Amy. He very well may turn out much better than your breeder roo. He looks very full. His color may be a tad dark but, your hens are light so you can select offspring to fit your program from there. I wouldn't dump him just yet. He may change a lot
Here are 2 boys I think I will sell. They are quite young but the dark one won't fit into my breeding program. The light one is nice but I am hatching out a lot of MF again so I hate to keep one when I may have another come along I like better.
These 2 are being looked at by another person right now so it depends on their decision as to what may be available.

The 9 week old boy.....

And the 11 week old boy......

I am the world's worst for putting what I have available for sale on here. Mainly because I hate to ship but it just escapes me to mention it here. But here they are. I also may have a pullet to go with the boys but they are not top notch girls.

I'm using a relatives computor so I am just letting everybody know my rooster problems are solved. I lost all of them that werent in a breeding pen during a fox attack! I was allowing all the extras run with all the free range hens. I was lucky I switched out Roscoe and Napoleon 2 days before. I lost Sunshine Roo, Napoleon, Geronimo, and to other u-named boys. The only boy that survived as my golden laced Chief but that's because he was watching hens in the hen house at the time.

Aww, I'm so so so sorry for your loss. :( :( :( :(
I had a fox kill 3 of my free-ranging hens before. :( I know how you feel.. :(

I'm happy I only lost what I did and not more but I do miss them. I put a lot of money into my birds this year and I was really excited about hatching from Sunshine Roo and Geronimo. I did manage to get 1 egg from Chipper and Geronimo I think though. I just pray it hatches. That's the problem with making pets though.

Got to get pics to share of how everybody has changed though. Kipper is beautiful. He is really filling out nicely. I can't wait to get the pics. I hope he can make up for some of the losses in losing Sunshine Roo and Geronimo.
Mike
