I love her! - I like all of your birds. They show that type is coming along in Mille Fleurs. Did you get any chicks from Sunshine Boy before you lost him?

I think that the little one that just hatched may be his but I'm not sure. I had both him and Rem in with Chipper and Tuba when I set these eggs but I moves Sunshine Roo out into the laying flock and he along with Geronimo only lasted a week. If I'm lucky, Chipper may still be fertile from him. But, she may not be. I have more eggs from her going in tomorrow!!!

Either Rem or Chipper. The fox hasn't been back yet. I hope it was just one passing through. For its own sake, it better not come back!!!

Thanks Lynne. I miss him and geronimo lots!! But, I did have more boys than I needed amd I guess that if I copuldn't take care of my rooster probs then nature did it for me.

I got to looking over the eggs in the incubator and come to find out this chick is Remington's. Sunshine Roo's is still in there. I'm positive this time.

So I think I've shared enough now. I will keep you all updated o chicks but will do my best to wait a while before post pics of the older ones so you can see how they change. So, now I have to ask, who up to share next???

Here's a pic I snapped in the "grow out pen" the day before yesterday. I've hatched 7 chicks out of this pen, and have more in the 'bator, so I don't know if I can call it the "grow out pen" anymore

They are beauties!!!! I'm going to assume that the black mottled is Macho. He is real nice!!! I really like the 2nd pic 2. It's quite cute. Your frizzle is beautiful. I'm looking to get 4-5 more hens and a cockerel so I can have 2 pens going. The last pic of the little cockerel reminds me of the pictures you posted last year of Dinner. He is cute as well!!

Yup that's Macho. He does have red leakage but it almost never shows up in a picture.
The one chick in the second pic is a frizzle too, out of Inky and Porky. (They both are, only one is frizzle)
The bottom cockerel is Brucie. He does kind of look like Dinner there, doesn't he? He was a yellow chick though. He's my favorite. I didn't want to have a favorite, especially a favorite cockerel! But what can you do.....
