Okay, I think I am going to put up a trio of MF/Calico for auction. I wanted to announce it first here, as most are usually very interested in my birds. I haven't gotten photos of the little boy and the other pullet yet but did post this one girl on here before or on the Calico thread. I will be putting this same post on the Calico thread, as well.



It will probably be this boy that I put with them. But I need to get better photos for the auction.

I get some like that now. I think it is from the wheaten gene but could be wrong. I do not study chick color nearly as much as juvies and adults. This is still much too new of a project for me to care what chick color is. I do not believe it helps a lot in saying what the adults will be.

Wasn't there a member's page that had chicks to adults so we could look at it? Can't remember but I was thinking Erin put it up?

Well, I was going to offer a trio but the other pullet has a scab above her eye where she must have hurt it and I won't sell one with a wound, no matter how small.

Here is the pair I will be putting up on auction. These photos were taken today.









Here is the other girl I was going to sell with them but now will wait and sell her with a roo later on.

Love the rooster Amy!!! But it seems like thy always are my favorites. The only hen I like more then any of my MF boys is Tuba. She is my best bud when I do chores.

She has been great so far. She only lost 2 but that was on account of my stupidity. But as far as protection nothing is allowed near them.
