I am in serious need of a new roo! I traded Byron for a new little cockerel from Erin, but he's not old enough to cover the girls. So, I am still short on boys. I wish I hadn't sold my frizzle MFC roo now.

I do have many new babies I am super excited about. I really must get new pics once the weather clears up!

Wish I could help but I am sold out except for one possible. I am back and forth on him. I like him, then not, then like him again. He is still too young for me to decide but I like his color and not so much his type.
I have been fooled before though so I am watching him.
I was going to sell him with 2 pullets last Sat. but just was too up in the air about it all. However, I sold everything I took up to the Farm Day swap. It was fun. I did not have to unload my stuff because when we drove up everyone saw me and came running to see what I brought and took all the cages out and over under the canopys. Sold 17 ducks and ducklings in the first 15 minutes. The only thing I brought home was Silkies and I traded Guinea eggs for those.

One was a lavender rooster I sold last fall! But he came with the 2 spectacular hens so I had to take him and had a friend beg me to take the Red Pyle Silkie rooster for my Sizzle project. Geez! I gotta stop going places!

if you're interested in a nice mf split roo, let me know. I posted a pic of him on the main cochin thread last week. he's out of my own mille fleur pen, had white as a chick but lost it all by his first moult. he's in sw Virginia tho, and I don't know if his (current) owner is willing to ship, but I can find out if you're interested... if not he's coming back to me next weekend, but i'd rather see him go somewhere that he'd be needed and loved. he's a 9 year old's pet right now.

I should have clarified. Type needs to be decent and I really need decent coloring with breast flowers! I have no boys with breast flowers! Most of my girls are lacking, too... I have my pen of 3 girls with breast flowers and I am getting babies from them with them, but I am at a dead end with my boys. Not only that but all of my boys are related to each other and most of my girls.
