Yah- it took 4 days to collect them. I had collected 28 eggs and put them under various hens. 3 of the other hens had 8 eggs under them and on day 10 a kid went took the eggs, and smashed them on the ground. Chipper is up 2 8 chicks.Wow. Did you collect them all first and then put them underneath her?

love this boy [/quote/] Love them all! All this talk about HUNDREDS of birds... I'm over 20 with the eggs that should be hatching this week and my husband is complaining. Granted I don't have the setup for multiple houses at the moment, so moms, some babies, my couple egg layers & my one (adult) rooster I'm down to (he came from Wingshadows eggs) live in the coop together, I have the two refugees in the barn with the horses, and the new babies will be in the house til they can go out to the coop... But HUNDREDS? I can't even imagine! But I am eternally grateful for all you all do so that the rest of us can have a few pretty birds to look at and work with! XOXO
