Mille Cochin Info

Hello everyone! I love the coloring on MFC's. I currently only have one bantam rooster that I bought locally. I'll post some picks of him on here. By the way beautiful birds everyone! So jealous.

Does anyone have any chicks or adult birds they'd be willing to ship to AZ for a reasonable price? I don't buy eggs shipped because they almost never hatch.

Chipper had 4 chicks hatch last night- I know at least 2 are frizzles, and one is a Lf Lemon Blue, I'm not sure if the last one is frizzle or MF. She has 8 more to hatch though. Pics coming on Wednesday!

Exciting ive got 13 days still to wait that lf chick is going to be huge compared to the others. Cant wait to see pics

Yah- it took 4 days to collect them. I had collected 28 eggs and put them under various hens. 3 of the other hens had 8 eggs under them and on day 10 a kid went took the eggs, and smashed them on the ground. Chipper is up 2 8 chicks.
8 little ones!

This morning, before the rain, was a good day for taking pictures. Some of my boys: Ned Rudy Jon Harry love this boy [/quote/] Love them all! All this talk about HUNDREDS of birds... I'm over 20 with the eggs that should be hatching this week and my husband is complaining. Granted I don't have the setup for multiple houses at the moment, so moms, some babies, my couple egg layers & my one (adult) rooster I'm down to (he came from Wingshadows eggs) live in the coop together, I have the two refugees in the barn with the horses, and the new babies will be in the house til they can go out to the coop... But HUNDREDS? I can't even imagine! But I am eternally grateful for all you all do so that the rest of us can have a few pretty birds to look at and work with! XOXO
