Yay they are so cute I love them especially those little frizzles. Love it when just the wings are curly like that excited for wizs babies now he is changing loads his tail has sort of got long and drooped is that normal? Will it got back nice and round!

One of my F2 cochin hens I was using in my millie fleur project pen decided that she wanted to hatch some babies and she hatched 4 millie fleur cochin babies and they are just so cute!

Lovin Freaky. Are you planning on breeding him or just a backyard pet? I'm hoping maybe I can get some smooths from Peppermint that may look like him. Ned is looking good as always and goliath is very nice!!

I haven't set him up yet but I think I will sometime.. probably with Edna because I don't really have a plan for her either, and they're both "Calico."
Might pair him up with Macho's daughter Blackerella just to see what I get.. she has good type too and with this pairing I would expect to get a chick or two colored like Freaky.. (but breeding doesn't always work out like I "expect") and I know someone who would love to have a cockerel just like him

I had bred my bantam Red Cochin to a Mille Fleur Cochin bantam and got a pretty male and a very pretty female. I thought she was a poorly colored Buff and he a poorly colored Partridge. Winds up, they're both not so poorly colored Wheaten pair. Just blows my mind. Genetics are just wonky sometimes...

Fancy, you should have a Halloween photoshoot with Freaky! Seriously! He reminds me of fall!

Yup his colors really compliment Autumn.
Funny story, before I knew how much Mike wanted him I had actually sent him off with my friend to take to auction with my cull /extra sale birds! Then later I changed my mind and called him and asked if it was too late..

Thankfully it wasn't and Ken was nice enough to hang onto him for a week or so until we got back together again (everywhere in South Dakota is pretty far from everywhere else) Then I mentioned Freaky to Mike and he said he really wanted him and then I changed my mind on Mike! He wasn't too impressive as a chick, but now he looks so much like Ivan did, just richer color and I love him

and he's a sweetheart, too, just like Ivan was.
