Happy New Year!
This is the first chick hatched this year, a MFC from a rooster I just sold to a pet home (I may regret that!) but out of some lovely first string hens. It popped out yesterday morning all happy and full of pep! I decided to stop putting up those few decorations to drop it and some other chicks down for a photo op. I still have a lot of photos to take outside for folks, too but have been busy, busy!



And from the lovely Shazam and Steel Frizzle breeding pens, hatched a week ago.

Yes, a blue Frizzle of some sort. That is out of Steel's pen. He is blue Mottled/splash and has blues, mottled, buff/blue and blue partridge in his pen so I get a lot of blue/white chicks from him. They seldom stay long as people love those colors and buy them quickly.

I finally got around to putting Royale and his new group of ladies together. None are laying right now but I expect to start getting eggs soon and I will set everything this pen lays.

Nice group. I've added a blue and splash hen to my Mille line to bring up the type in my flock and hoping to get a blue MF line going as a result. One of these days I will get around to getting pictures. Been so cold and nasty here that pictures have been the least of my worries.

He has 8 girls. Most of my breeding pens have 6-8 hens in them. Schmoozle has 7 MF hens and Xavier has 8 hens in with him. A young roo that is up for sale is in with 6 hens, just to teach him some manners of a flock.

Here are 2 boys I think I will sell. They are quite young but the dark one won't fit into my breeding program. The light one is nice but I am hatching out a lot of MF again so I hate to keep one when I may have another come along I like better.
These 2 are being looked at by another person right now so it depends on their decision as to what may be available.

I am the world's worst for putting what I have available for sale on here. Mainly because I hate to ship but it just escapes me to mention it here. But here they are. I also may have a pullet to go with the boys but they are not top notch girls.
