The Crazy Chicken Lady
Isn't that the luck!? But at least you did get to meet her and talk with her and now can put a name to a face on here. That is pretty cool!

RoPo, so funny. When you looked at my rosecombs and said, "are those black rosecombs too?" then, she said, "the only person I know who has milles and black rosecombs is.." then the lights went off LOL pretty cool. It's a shame you're moving and won't get to enjoy our BYC VIP lounge at the swap in June. for those of you who maybe are close enough, I host a big chicken shin-dig in June and Oct. http://mdpoultryswap.blogspot.com/ and it's a ton of fun.Yes! After years of talking to her, picking her brain and seeing her pics of her gorgeous birds! I can't believe I got to meet her! Figures I meet her a week before we are due to move back to Oklahoma!

I'm not doin' blue mille, but please make sure you send me eggs that'll out like these chicks!RoPo, so glad you're happy with them. I noticed that darker one at hatch time. She was a huge ball of fluff and knew she would be special. I just wished she woulda hatched out blue!! I have been working on blue mille and really need a good type producer. I have one male that hatched out similar to her. People laugh when I say I can tell at hatch but, Im sure some of you on here know what Im talking about. That tiny little feather fluff grows on every toe and they hatch out like a little roly poly and heavy.. sometimes so heavy it takes another extra day for them to be able to walk! That's the one!! hahahahah Happy hatching everyone![]()
